A socially important mission
At the Swedish Food Agency, we all work to ensure that the food sold and consumed in Sweden is safe. As a food inspector, you will work within our operational food control and contribute to the agency's mission by inspecting animals that are sent for slaughter to become food.

As a food inspector, you will have excellent opportunities to develop your skills as a public authority representative while learning a great deal about food production. Together with your team, you will continuously develop in matters concerning the entire food chain.
A sustainable employment
The Swedish Food Agency offers many secure, state employee benefits. Wellness grants, subsidized massages, a generous number of vacation days, and work during daytime without on-call duties on weekends and evenings are just a few of these.
